I’m a software engineer based in Munich. This is where I share what I’m building, learning, reading, and playing—with a little of my professional life mixed in.
A glimpse of my work
I built a way for fleets to reimburse drivers for charging company EVs at home. I owned the feature across the stack: matching vehicle telemetry to home locations, calculating reimbursements, and giving managers the tools to review and export them.
I led the Japanese-language rollout from the initial idea to production, bringing our platform to Japanese-speaking customers. I took ownership of the localization initiative and carried it through engineering and final delivery.
I worked directly with security specialists to turn pentest findings into production fixes, strengthening password recovery, tenant isolation, and access controls. I owned critical remediation from investigation to delivery, contributing to the company’s successful ISO certification.
I drove the migration from long-lived AWS keys to short-lived credentials through GitLab OIDC, standardizing deployment authentication across our services and reducing reliance on stored cloud credentials.
I’ve been getting deeper into AI, and I’m already building a local setup at home. I’m using Ollama to run language models on my own hardware, with the goal of giving my apps and personal assistants a shared AI backend—and eventually connecting it to home automation.
My first app is a personal grammar assistant. I’m building it to catch mistakes, suggest clearer wording, and help me soften my tone when needed. It’s a project I get to learn from and use myself.
